What is Community Education?

New Mexico State University Carlsbad Community Education serves as the center for lifelong learning by providing educational training and personal enrichment opportunities for businesses and students of all ages. Community Education plays a major role in community service and outreach for NMSU Carlsbad. Enjoy short-term, non-credit classes designed to develop new skills and interests. Our instructors include retired and working professionals, NMSU faculty members, and small business owners. 

Through Customized Training, we partner with businesses to create courses and workshops based on their specific needs. It is a cost effective way to increase employee skills and performance that will lead to long-term business growth, employee retention and continuing education.
